Distribution Center Information
The Emergency Feeding Program
stretches the length and breadth of King County, distributing food to hungry people in crisis through a network of over 130 faith communities, schools, food banks, health clinics and social service agencies. An additional 86 agencies provide referrals to other beneficial resources in the community.
EFP provides the equivalent of about 285,000 nutritional meals to around 68,000 families and individuals each year who would otherwise face the dark spectre of hunger. About 40% of those served are children and infants.
For the past 32 years we have combined Compassion, Integrity, and Respect while providing emegency food and resource referrals tailored to individual needs. We continue to be the innovative leader among local food programs by meeting the evolving dietary needs of the community.
